Ameriwest Energy is acquiring majority interests in producing leaseholds with opportunities to maximize production through enhanced oil recovery as well as extensively mapped exploration plays demonstrating significant development potential.

The Department of Energy estimates the producing basins of Wyoming, Utah and Colorado have 34 billion barrels of original oil in place, 67% of which will remain stranded after primary and secondary oil recovery.
